RUGGED YET MODERN REDESIGN:
ALL-NEW NINE-SPEED NISSAN PATHFINDER V6 AUTO
Specifications are for US market and based on latest product information available at the time of release
The return of the champ: the all-new Nissan Pathfinder has been comprehensively redesigned for 2022, including nine-speed automatic transmission with wheel-mounted paddle shifters, new exterior design and significant additional safety features across all models.
“The nine-speed automatic transmission has been introduced for the 3.5-litre direct-injection V6 petrol engine, replacing the previous CVT,” explains Rob Manning, Sales Manager from Christchurch Nissan. “The new gearbox pairs perfectly with Nissan’s powerful V6 petrol engine (202kW and 340Nm), allowing for effortless acceleration and easy overtaking.”
Towing of braked trailers up to 2700kg is made safer and easier with specific tow mode and onboard trailer-stability program.
Dramatic Exterior Redesign
The new-generation Pathfinder has a strong, muscular appearance, shorter front overhang, slimmer pillars, C-shaped LED headlights and a ‘floating’ roofline which for the first time, allows the use of two-tone paint on a Pathfinder.
Advanced Safety Features
• Intelligent all-wheel drive system: seven drive & terrain settings for all-wheel drive system, five settings on 2WD models
• Pro-PILOT semi-autonomous driving*
• Nine airbags, incl. curtain bags spanning all three seating rows
A huge 10.8-inch Head Up Display (HUD) is now standard across all models – projecting key information – e.g. turn-by-turn satellite navigation to help keep the driver focused on the road ahead.
*Nissan’s advanced Pro-PILOT semi-autonomous driving system makes its debut on Pathfinder, as a standard inclusion on the ST+ model upwards.
Infotainment Upgrade
An upgrade to the Pathfinder’s infotainment system also spans all models, with integrated wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto. Four USB charging points are standard, as are two 12-volt outlets.
Cabin Comfort
Comfort is assured, with Tri-zone climate control and air vents all the way through to the rear row of seats, plus rear sun shades (on models ST-L upwards) to cut heat and glare.
